We are happy to announce that applications for the 2026 PhotoWork Junior Fellowship will open on September 15th, 2025. Six Fellows will be chosen by a jury of industry leading colleagues.
The PhotoWork Junior Fellowship supports early-career photographers in developing a body of work and refining their visual voice and creative process through one-on-one mentorship, pairing each fellow with an established photographer working within the post-documentary tradition.
From January through June 2026, the fellows will work on developing a project of their choice while attending monthly critique sessions with their mentors to refine their artistic vision, deepen their practice, and strengthen their written and oral presentations of their work.
